I’ve always believed that love is the most powerful energy in the world, an energy that can change the world and light up the whole world. We see it everywhere, from the way we treat ourselves, the way we treat others and how we go about our daily business. We see it when people show a great deal of compassion and respect, and also when people emit joy and forgiveness and tolerance. All of us have a huge amount of love within us. We too, have the ability to be compassionate, respectful, forgiving and joyful.
So then, how can we truly activate the power of love in our lives, on a regular basis? How can we live in harmony with mental peace and clarity, whilst broadcasting the power of love within us and show qualities such as: compassion, respect, forgiveness and tolerance?
Living in the love vibration
Empathy: a skill I believe to be one of the most important of them all. Empathy: the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. This is the key to living a life with the power of love by our side. If we’re able to resonate with the feelings of others, and to be able to see things from their perspective, we have a control of our ego – crucial for living a life filled with love.
The ego wants to portray us as something we’re not. The ego feeds off jealousy, bitterness, resentment and has such a stubborn need to be correct, but by becoming more empathetic we can keep the ego in check and stop it from unbalancing us. There are always two sides to a coin, don’t let your ego convince you otherwise.
When we live in the love vibration, our energy resonates at a higher frequency and we express the God-qualities of compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, respect, generosity, joy, peace – all that inspires, empowers, and enhances life. The love vibration lifts us to a higher state of consciousness and frees us of the thoughts, feelings, and actions that minimise and victimise us. This is the true power of love and this is where the law of attraction comes in.
We receive back what we send out. But nothing carries more power than emotions – the emotions we send out will be gifted back to us. By being in a state of love and radiating emotions such as: joy, gratitude, compassion, we open our doors to receiving this same energy back. We may look at these gifts as miracles, maybe they are. I prefer to credit them to the law of attraction.
A natural high
Now of course, the power of love is never more present than with our romantic partners. According to Napoleon Hill, author of: Think and Grow Rich (highly recommend!), ‘sex desire is the most powerful of human desires. When driven by this desire, people develop keenness of imagination, courage, willpower, persistence and creative ability unknown to them at other times’.
Have you ever met someone with who you just click with romantically? Everything feels right, the energy is pure, you both have a similar mindset, you both complement each other. Driven by this state of love – as Napoleon Hill explains – we become more than what we were without it. (It should be noted that ‘sex desire’ doesn’t necessarily mean sexual intercourse, it’s more about the feeling you have with your romantic partner, a feeling that you can only receive with your romantic partner).
Like attracts like
Have you ever been in a position where you have tried to force things with someone but still to no avail? That’s when you know that person is not meant for you (at least not right now), when you try your best but make little progress.
It’s a blessing! Because ultimately, if you follow your own life path and be courageous and brave, advance through adversity, your soulmate will find you. Or you will find each other. When matching energies collide they explode into something special.
Recently I met a wonderful woman who has shown me – with her presence and energy – everything that I have been looking for. The energy I have been putting out has finally come to fruition. We match, we click, and we help each other to grow. Now, motivated by the power of love, I feel a new sense of being. I feel free and incredibly adventurous and energetic, with a great motivation to live life to the maximum! This is my example of the power of love.
