Let me introduce myself...

I am an introvert who loves communicating with others, with a passion to live the best life I possibly can! I have a great ability to establish relationships with others and have always been told that I am a great listener and a very nurturing individual – something I’ve been aware of from a young age.

However due to a childhood which left me with a lot of trauma, I struggled with low self-esteem from a young age. It was then that I decided that I wanted to create a more positive mindset for myself, and not settle for my current state of mind that only hindered me. I knew there was more to me and life, and I had to find out what that was. This was also around the time when I realised the power of relationships: the effect they have on us and who they can make us become.

I realised the importance of surrounding yourself with mentally stable people who support and love you, and limiting the influence of the negative, toxic people who don’t. I had seen first-hand what harmful destructive people could do in relationships to others, and it was then, that I decided I was going to be a symbol of love in the relationships in my life. I knew though, that there was more for me to become and focus on.

As mentioned above I wanted to create a more positive mindset, especially so I could deal with adversity better! Ever since then it’s become my purpose to empower others through helping them create a more positive mindset to overcome their life’s issues. This brings me onto self-love. Growing up in an environment where I received the unconditional love of one parent, and the anger and resentment of the other, I became quite dysfunctional myself. Although able to handle myself in social situations well, I was an often anxious, unconfident and very self-conscious young man.

So, what changed?

I’ve always been extremely interested in people. Why do some of us behave different to others? What makes us tick? Why do we feel threatened when somebody else is secure of something we are insecure about? Why do some of us avoid conflict? Why are some of us always involved in drama? I decided that I should ask myself some of these questions and do some real soul searching.

I wanted to get to the bottom of why I felt a certain way when certain things happened. Most of the time, we keep things at surface level – we never venture further down. However every thought and feeling that affects us negatively is derived from a much deeper place, a place we have to go to and confront, if we actually wish to bring about the change we crave in our lives.

Therefore I decided from a young age that I wanted to be a Life Coach. I was attracted to coaching because coaching is based on reality. It’s based on where you are now, where you want to be, and how to get there. I wanted to be someone who could help facilitate others to make the change they always wanted in their lives.

But first I had to coach myself. I decided that I was going to live a life full of colour and put myself out there to experience as much as possible. I am glad to say that I have been doing that! From having wonderful and painful times in relationships, to living in multiple countries and learning new languages and feeling the thrill of life, to not being afraid to show my vulnerability and express myself. I decided to prioritise the most important things to me in my life and step up every time I faced a challenge.

It's possible

I believe that with your untapped ability as a human being and my desire to help you become the best possible version of yourself, you can create a more positive mindset to overcome feelings of low self-esteem. You can be your true authentic self, with much more confidence in who you are without suffering from the worry that you will get ‘found out’.

I wanted to share this with all of you because I want to show you that expressing vulnerability is not a weakness. It’s your greatest strength! I want you to be able to wake up happy to be alive, with the motivation to conquer the day. I want you to live a purpose-driven day, each day! And finally, I want you to have the positive mindset to overcome feelings of low self-esteem, when they crop up to take away your joy!
